Multidisciplinary artist Lora Avedian’s creative practice is known for its unique way of capturing the delicate fragility of nature. Grounded in history and inspired by ethnographic research and nature, she often uses scrap and vintage materials to bring her pieces to life, melding new and old embroidery techniques. Lora has created bespoke collections for The New Craftsmen, Howe and the Barbican Centre. Members can join Lora for a workshop, where they will apply her unique embellishment techniques to fabric to create a versatile textile artwork.
