Carrier Company x Lora Avedian - Fennel Embroidered Fisherman V Neck Smock - PRE-ORDER
The ‘Fennel’ Embroidered Denim Fisherman Smock ~ PRE-ORDER open until 31st May
Lora Avedian x Carrier Company
The ‘Fennel’ embroidered denim Fisherman V neck Smock is part of an exclusive, three-piece collaboration between textile artist Lora Avedian and Carrier Company. First presented at their stand during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, this collection brings together a shared love for enduring British craftsmanship and nature.
Every smock is unique, embroidered to order by Lora in her South West London studio. The striking fennel plant design features delicate hand-stitched silk ribbon, paired with intricate stems and leaves created using a free-motion, hand-guided embroidery machine. Because each piece is embroidered by hand no two pieces are exactly identical.
Rooted in local industry, Carrier Company’s garments are made in small batches in Norfolk by their family-run business, before being sent to London for Lora to embellish.
Details:
Composition: 100% indigo cotton denim base; silk ribbon and rayon thread embroidery.
Craftsmanship: Proudly made and embroidered in the UK.
Care: Dry clean only. (Please note: the embroidery is highly delicate. To preserve the artwork and ensure it is long-lasting, professional dry cleaning is essential).
Carrier Company describes the base piece as: ‘With a wider V-shaped neck and collars, the ‘Slop’ becomes a ‘smock’ in broad Norfolk speak. Windproof, designed to be worn year-round in all weathers and to improve with age, we offer these generously sized smocks in our hardwearing cotton drill.’
Production & Delivery:
Pre-orders are now open until 31st May, when the pre-orders close delivery will be between 3-6 weeks (estimated mid June to early July). Carrier Company garments are produced in small batches; if your size is currently out of stock, there may be some additional waiting time while your jacket is made. If this is the case, we will contact you directly.
Returns/Refunds
Since these are made to order items we cannot offer refunds, but if you feel the piece is not right for you we can offer a credit note once the item is returned in accordance with our terms and conditions
