This Dahlia and Dandelion design cushion was made as part of Lora’s first collection she produced for The New Craftsmen in 2018. Lora’s collection was inspired by botanical drawings and english country gardens.
Throughout the collection she has used a combination of hand and machine embroidery with exquisite attention to detail. Each piece is totally unique and her combinations of materials reflect Lora’s training in mixed-media textiles at the Royal College of Art.
Dimensions 50 x 50cm, with duck feather pad filling.
Made using a beautiful peach/pink viscose crepe material with yellow silk piping. Freehand machine embroidered leaves combined with hand embroidered Russia braid and vintage woven ribbon flowers.
Dry clean inside out only.
