Single Stem Cushion
Part of Lora’s 2022 collection Ode to Echinacea, the Single Stem cushion in the Double Raspberry colour way is made from Italian Linen, with machine couched antique trims to create the flower head in the centre, with freehand machine embroidered leaves. This design is a celebration of Lora’s home grown Echinacea flowers combined with her love of ceramics. She has combined an abstract twist pattern with flowers and blocks of joyful colour inspired by a Poole Pottery book she bought at a market a few years ago.
Each piece is hand made by Lora and so no one cushion is exactly the same, each has it’s own personality. The collection is limited edition as it has been made from dead stock and remnant materials from Lora’s studio, but can be made to order on request. Materials: Linen base fabric, antique trims, viscose embroidery threads
Textile care: Take care when cleaning, materials have been washed for shrinkage but embroidery is delicate and can catch if machine washed. Do not machine wash or submerge in water. Use a damp cloth or sponge to clean specific stains or dirt away. For best results turn inside out before specialist dry cleaning.
