The White Poppy & Cornflower cushion is designed and made by Lora in her south west London studio. Inspired by English gardens and wild flower meadows. Made from 100% Lithuanian linen, with a cream silk pipped seam edge. Freehand machine embroidered leaves combined with pleated silk flowers flowers cut from vintage silk and yellow braid centres stitched in place by hand by Lora.
Through Lora’s work she has uses a combination of hand and machine embroidery with exquisite attention to detail. Each piece is totally unique and her combinations of materials reflect Lora’s training in mixed-media textiles at the Royal College of Art.
Materials: Linen, silk & rayon embroidery thread, with zip fastening.
Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm, with duck feather filling.
Dry clean inside out only, do not machine wash or dry.
