Each shape is hand cut from Smythson of London’s Italian leather and hand stitched together by Lora using a traditional joining embroidery stitch. The hanging depicts a group of birds in a blossoming tree, all chattering away to one another. If hung near a light source the piece produces a beautiful silhouette of the pattern on the wall.
Lora has used both the suede and finished sides of the leather on this piece. Because it is made from leather it has some movement, giving the piece a life of its own.
Keep out of continuous direct sun light to ensure colours do not fade.
Dimensions: 70x122cm
